Daniel, a lonely bicylcle deliveryman longs for Rose, the only beauty in a dark contemporary town. However, his unsightly appearance and abusive father, has made Daniel too ashamed to declare his love and allow him to escape his loneliness. When a foul rain falls on the town, a stranger appears at his father’s pawnshop and propose to take away Daniel’s ugliness. Daniel agree to the accord and gives the gentleman freewill to collect his debt and leave behind a tail of tragedy, loss and sorrow.

After his studies at the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema in Montréal, David Gascon quickly emerged as a cinematographer in the independent filmmaking industry. Characterized by a soft visual style, Gascon also explored different schools of cinematography creating a style that could be taken as pleasant realism. Although working as a cinematographer, Gascon has also worked in the capacity as director, photographer and producer for various projects such as commercials, music videos and short films. Gascon first step in cinematography has been recognized with the award winning short film Devil's Rose.
