A penny is abandoned on a money tray as an object of insult. A turning point in the penny’s life as it embarks on a journey in search of identity, acceptance and a place within society. Kicked around, stepped on and ignored, the penny survives through sleet and rain until a young boy picks it up and leads it to its fateful end.
