Je Me Souviens (I Remember) (Preview Soon)
Inspired by a cherished Quebec folktale, JE ME SOUVIENS tells the story of Francois, a loveable, physivally challenged fiddler and his dubious neighborm Bigras. Walking home through the forest one night, Francois is unexpectedly greeted by a mysterious band of elves, who present him with an offer that changes his life forever. Upon learning of Francois’ miraculous transformation, Bigras sets out tho find the elves to satisfy his own personal desires. The props, sets, costumes, character voices and story adaptation were provided entirely by a 4th grade elementary class.

After his studies at the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema in Montréal, David Gascon quickly emerged as a cinematographer in the independent filmmaking industry. Characterized by a soft visual style, Gascon also explored different schools of cinematography creating a style that could be taken as pleasant realism. Although working as a cinematographer, Gascon has also worked in the capacity as director, photographer and producer for various projects such as commercials, music videos and short films. Gascon first step in cinematography has been recognized with the award winning short film Devil's Rose.
