Le Buveur D’encre (Preview Soon)
Inspired by the charming French children’s book, LE BUVEUR D’ENCRE tells the story of how a young boy’s distaste for books mysteriously changes when a stranger arrives at his father bookstore. Upon discovering the man’s curious appetite for words, the boy sets out on a quest where he learns the true identity of the shadowy character and discovers his own hidden thirst. The props, sets, costumes, character voices and story adaptation were provided entirely by a 4th grade elementary class.

After his studies at the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema in Montréal, David Gascon quickly emerged as a cinematographer in the independent filmmaking industry. Characterized by a soft visual style, Gascon also explored different schools of cinematography creating a style that could be taken as pleasant realism. Although working as a cinematographer, Gascon has also worked in the capacity as director, photographer and producer for various projects such as commercials, music videos and short films. Gascon first step in cinematography has been recognized with the award winning short film Devil's Rose.
